difficulty modes: EASY scoring disables negative bullet hitboxes + slower bullets, NORMAL scoring gives brief invincibility, HARD disables scoring invincibility + increased bullet count/speed ramping, EXTREME gives scoring invincibility back but theres a lotta bullet

with PRACTICE on, runs are infinitely continuable but will not count toward leaderboard or challenge progress + press 1-7 keys to spawn hazards
